Online Transitional Parenting CourseThis online class teaches parents how to co-parent after divorce or separation. The course meets Georgia state requirements for parents with minor children going through family court cases. You can take the 4-hour class at your own pace by watching videos and taking tests. You have 15 days to finish once you start. After completing the course, you get a certificate to give to the court or your lawyer. The class helps parents learn how to work together for their children's best interests during difficult family changes.

Magistrate Court MediationFree mediation service for people who received a letter from Magistrate Court referring their case to mediation. A neutral mediator helps both sides talk through their legal dispute and try to reach an agreement. Sessions are held virtually through Zoom video calls or phone. You must complete a form to get your mediation date and time. The mediator will guide the conversation and can put people in separate virtual rooms to talk privately. You need a computer, tablet, or phone with internet access and a quiet, private space for the mediation.

Mediation Services (Spanish)This organization helps people solve problems through mediation instead of going to court. A neutral person (mediator) helps both sides talk through their issues and find solutions that work for everyone. They can help with family problems like divorce, business disputes, and other conflicts. The service is confidential, which means what you say stays private. You don't need a lawyer, but you can bring one. Most sessions happen over Zoom video calls, but in-person meetings are sometimes available. Probate Court MediationFree mediation service for families dealing with probate court cases like wills, estates, and inheritance disputes. A trained volunteer mediator helps all family members talk through their disagreements and find solutions everyone can agree on. Sessions can be done online through Zoom, by phone, or in person. The mediator doesn't take sides but helps everyone communicate better. This service is free for cases in the Eastern Judicial Circuit of Georgia. You need to fill out a form to schedule your session.
